Every four years, USF GAU negotiates with the administration to come to terms for a new contract, called the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Some terms of the CBA (like wages) are negotiated every year, however, in what is called a contract re-opener. Some recent gains include in 2014, when USF-GAU bargained to increase the University’s proportion of the healthcare subsidy to 100% for GA’s with at least .25 FTE.
