We learned the answer to an important question at bargaining this week: What does USF think we’re worth? Their answer: Nothing. Zero. USF offered no raises, and no fee relief. On top of all that, they submitted a hostile union-busing proposal that would require union members to reinstate their own membership every semester! USF knows that we are getting stronger, and the only way that they can stop us is by silencing the only voice we have!
We’re not going to let them silence us, and we’re going to show them exactly what we can do when we get organized. That’s why I’m calling an emergency organizing meeting for Wednesday, June 16th at 6p. This is an extremely important meeting, and I’d like everyone to attend, and to bring a colleague with you. The only way to show them that we are strong, that we are determined, and that we are united is to fight back.
