CANCELLED – Second Bargaining Session
Due to the threat of COVID-19 and guidance from the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control, GAU and USF have agreed to cancel the second bargaining session. We will let you know when it is rescheduled! Please stay safe and take proper social distancing and hygiene measures to help Flatten The Curve and keep this global pandemic from reaching a truly devastating scale.
We’re back! After our first bargaining session on January 24th, the USF Administration gave us the runaround in our attempts to schedule the second session (see YouTube for more info). Two months later, we’ll finally be going back to the table for our second session.
We want to pack the room with over 200 GAU members and our supporters to show the administration that not only are we here, but we care about our futures. We will fight for a living wage, vision and dental insurance, and paid parental leave, because we deserve to be treated with basic human dignity — even though USF apparently doesn’t care about us enough to give us a reasonable amount of time to negotiate.
