Bargaining Session: 4/25/2025

Today is the day! This was our first day of contract bargaining, we were so happy to see so many of you there supporting us, thank you for your presence and support!

We began the meeting by making proposals for Articles 1, 2, and 3. The USF Board of Trustees (BOT) team asked some clarifying questions before taking a caucus to discuss our proposals. When they came back, the BOT team agreed with our proposed changes to Article 1. We are happy to announce that we were able to sign a tentative agreement (TA) for Article 1 during the meeting! The BOT agreed to come to the next meeting with counterproposals for Articles 2 and 3. We are eager to receive these proposals and review them at the next session.

Our next session will take place on May 16 in CGS 140. We typically like to go no more than 2 weeks between sessions; however, with the end of term and commencement coming up, we both agreed to extend this time to accommodate these scheduling conflicts.
