Bargaining Session: 7/10/2025
Your USF GAU Bargaining Team had an EXTREMELY productive session today!!! Through our negotiations with the BOT Bargaining Team, we were able to reach tentative agreements (TAs) on NINE articles: Articles 8, 10, 14,15,16,17, 18, 19, and 20. In these TAs, we were able to negotiate tentative agreements for things like paid leave options, paid parental leave, paid personal time off, increased nondiscrimination protections, timely notice requirements for changes in office or work spaces, University coverage for any PPE needed for your GA assignment, and more. We also proposed a new article for our CBA today, our “Payday” Article. This new article would mandate that the University pays us on time and in full, every time, and if for some reason the University screws up and fails to pay us properly, we are asking for an emergency payment plan to get us paid ASAP. USF works because we do, at the bargaining table, we are making them work for us.
