Bargaining Session: 9/10

Thank you to everyone who attended or tuned in to our session today! Your support means a lot, and helps us make our points with emphasis. We had discussion with the BOT team on Article 22 (definitions), Appendices, and Article 26 (international GA rights article). We started the session by pressing USF on immigration issues including resources available to support international GAs, guidance for GAs and students if/when confronted by ICE, and the level of access that ICE has on campus. The USF BOT team then gave us their counterproposal on this article, which they said they wholly rejected at the last session, they left one line: USF intends to support international students through the supports offered by the USF Office of International Student Services. That is not enough. One of our utmost priorities is supporting international GAs, we won’t give up on this issue.
